About Me

By day, I’m a dedicated college advisor, helping students and families navigate the complex world of college admissions. But outside of that role, I pursue another long-standing passion: wine. 

I’ve been immersed in the wine and spirits industry practically since I could walk—growing up in my family’s retail stores, absorbing the sights, sounds, and smells of a world I would come to love. With over 20 years of experience across retail and wholesale, including running my own fine wine shop, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for the craft and culture of wine.

My journey has taken me to renowned wine regions across the globe—Italy, France, Spain, Germany, Greece, California, Argentina, and Chile—where I’ve tasted, learned, and connected with winemakers and traditions firsthand. While at Empire Merchants North, a top New York wine and spirits distributor, I created and led a wine education program for the sales team, blending industry expertise with a love of teaching.

That same spirit of education and enjoyment inspired me to create Tasting Playground—a space where I can share my knowledge and love of wine through fun, relaxed, and informative tasting experiences.

I’m still fully committed to my work in college advising, but I also find tremendous joy in creating meaningful moments through wine. Whether guiding students or guiding palates, my goal is the same: to educate, inspire, and connect.
